Large crowd at auction

A large crowd of about 60 people attended the auction at 260 Wharparilla Drive, Echuca, on Sunday, where a strong result was recorded.
Charles L King and Co First National’s Gary Wood said six bidders competed for the property which sold well above its reserve price.
Bidding opened at $800,000 and was eventually sold for $1,280,000.
Rowena Ash, who managed the sale, said the interest in the property was outstanding, with one couple couple travelling from Sydney to attend the auction.
The new owners will make Wharparilla Drive their family home.
