Agents call the Jetty strip home

There’s a new arrival on the Jetty Strip which, instead of offering dream meals, offers up dream homes. First National Real Estate Coffs Coast has made the move from its former offices in the CBD to a newly designed corporate haven on the “eat street”.
“We moved last Saturday and were trading on Monday it’s all gone like clockwork,” First National principal Barry Booth said.
Mr Boot’s Sydney-based architect son Jim designed the office fit-out, which included retaining the building’s original brickwork and removing the ceilings to expose timber rafters. Local builders and tradesmen then completed the transformation.
The result is a stylish space designed to catch the eye of passing cafe patrons.
“Being right next door to Urban and with the Foreshores Cafe nearby, we’re always bumping into people,” Mr Booth said.
“The Jetty is a natural place for tourists or people new to town to come; it’s a great browsing spot.
Nine out of 10 tourists will come here and see our office.” Keen to capitalise on that exposure, Mr Booth is now considering extending First National’s weekend trading hours.
