Home town sales agent and First National Rookie of the Year for NSW Greg Ward (pictured) is preparing to battle for the national crown this month at the network’s annual Convention in Bali.
Mr Ward, from First National Real Estate Port Macquarie, automatically qualified as a finalist after taking out the state title earlier this year.
“It came as a complete surprise as I had no idea I was in the running, or had been nominated,” he said.
“But when I had some time to think about it, I was very proud and humbled by it as I felt I had joined a great office with a strong team of people around me.” Mr Ward entered real estate because of the flexibility diversity and challenges it offered as a career.
“I wanted a career that provided plenty of flexibility changed day by day and had some challenges along the way” he said.
“Plus, it gives you the opportunity to get out into the field and mix with people, rather than being stuck behind a desk all day.
“It’s a great feeling when many of your clients give you their trust and confidence.”
