Strong enquiries from city folk keen to move

Prospective residents could be among the thousands of visitors expected to visit the North East this weekend for various wine festivals.
Rutherglen’s Winery Walkabout and the King Valley’s Weekend Fit for a King are the first major events to be held in the region since the inaugural Regional Victorian Living Expo in Melbourne.
First National Real Estate was a major sponsor of the expo and local agent, Garry Nash, said enquiries from Melbourne had been strong since the event.
“We’ve had people up in Wangaratta looking at property who made contact with us at the expo and others who will be coming up this weekend,” he said.
